DRYER VENTS

THERE'S A HIDDEN FIRE HAZARD IN EVERY HOME - - - -
IT'S THE DRYER VENT!

The buildup of lint over time in your dryer vent poses a potentially dangerous situation. Additionally, clogged dryer vent pipes cause your dryer to work harder and can greatly increase the time it takes to dry your clothes. It also will greatly increase your utility bill the longer the dryer runs. Lastly, excessive moisture that is trapped in the home by a clogged vent can cause mold growth.

Fires can occur when lint builds up either in your dryer or in the vent. Lint can block the flow of air and cause excessive heat buildup, and result in a fire in some dryers.

Isolated incident? Not at all. The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that over 15,000 dryer related fires occur each year causing 97 million dollars in property loss.

The Environmental Air Force does the complete job. If your dryer vents out to the roof most of the lint buildup will occur at the exhaust vent on the roof. We remove the roof vent, clean it, and re-install it.

Some homes have under-the-slab vents which are sometimes difficult to clean as vermin may make nests there or roots may penetrate the PVC couplings in the vents and clog them. We have the tools and experience to do a complete job. If we can't unclog them - -there is no charge.

We also include an A/C, duct, and indoor air health inspection while we are at your home for no additional charge.

We also install, re-route, and repair dryer vents if needed. We have a $125 flat fee for the service - there are no hidden costs.
